Poppyseed Cake
1-1/2 cups oil
1 2.5 oz jar Poppy Seeds
1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
3 cups all purpose flour
Combine all ingredients. Blend well about 4 minutes. Pour into 12 cup bundt pan. Bake 50-60 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Frost with creamy vanilla frosting or buttercream frosting. I use canned frosting because it cuts down on preperation time. I also add food coloring during the holiday seasons and decorate with holly leaves either pre-made or you can make them yourself if you want to take the time. However, the shortest method possible is my theory when preparing for the Holidays.
