1 cup shortening 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1-3/4 cups sugar 1/4 teaspoon almond extract 2 eggs 3 cups sifted flour 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup chopped pecans | | In a mixing bowl, cream together shortening and sugar; beat in eggs; add milk and extracts; add pecans; stir in flour. Drop by tablespoons about 2-1/2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 3 dozen. |
